When the Foundation discloses personal information to a third party, such as a cooperative organization, within the scope necessary to manage operations, the Foundation will enter into an agreement with the relevant third party about the handling of the personal information and provide appropriate guidance for and supervision over the relevant third party to ensure strict compliance with laws, regulations, etc. related to personal information.

1. The Foundation will use personal information in its possession, except for specific personal information, for the following projects and operations undertaken by the Foundation:

  • Aiding in such activities as research that supports the water of regions, human resource development, and inheritance of the aquatic culture
  • Aiding in the development of new technologies for maintaining the water infrastructure of regions, improving its function, operation systems, etc. and supporting fundraising and offering advice
  • Supporting fundraising for and offering advice about creating and commercializing new projects and comprehensive infrastructure projects that have a high affinity for water in regions
  • Activities for popularizing and promoting technologies and operation systems that are useful for maintaining the water infrastructure of regions, conducting waterside surveys and other purposes
  • Cooperation and co-creation activities with diverse entities to solve water and regional problems.
  • Announcing the results and achievements of this corporation’s activities to the public, disseminating information about water and regions
  • Possessing, managing, purchasing, and selling securities
  • Other necessary projects for achieving the objectives of this corporation

2. The Foundation will use personal information in its possession, except for specific personal information, for the purposes stated below in connection with the projects and operations of 1 above. Note that when the purpose of use of specific personal information is restricted based on laws and regulations, etc., the Foundation will not use such specific personal information for purposes other than the applicable purpose.

  • To organize solicitations for aiding and support projects, send materials and exchange information about such solicitations, and manage them
  • To organize and hold meetings for presenting the achievements of the Innovation Foundation for Water and Regional Revitalization, and send materials and exchange information about such events

  • To achieve other operations to be performed for the purposes of 1 above (including activities to be performed in the future)

3. At present, the Foundation does not possess any specific personal information.
